Recent Arrests by NAB

The NAB Lahore director general (DG) authorized the inquiry against the management of Ferozpur City Housing Scheme and others in April subsequent to the allegations of involvement of Ferozpur city management in the commission of the offense of corrupt practices and duping people in general on the loose.

As per the leaks throughout the inquiry, it presented that all charged, in conspired with each other to propel the illicit Ferozpur housing scheme at Ferozpur Road, Lahore in 2016 and gathered robust sums of Rs1-2 billion. 5000 affectees paid the booking price at the launch of private and commercial plots in the bogus housing society.

In addition, LDA issued a show cause notice to the charged proprietors of the housing scheme to keep them from offering of documents and plots to the general public. Since then thousands of complaints have been received by NAB against the Ferozpur Housing Scheme. LDA also avoided the proprietors from advertising this scheme but the management turned the deaf ear to everything and continued robbing the uninformed public.

Consequently, the NAB Lahore probed the housing scheme following the complaints and arrested on May 16th, 2018, the three developers namely Nazar Muhammad, Nadeem Ahmed, and Naeem Ahmed, which formed the management of Ferozpur City Housing Scheme.

Involvement of a politician

NAB has been learnt that the MPA took to pay off of Rs80 million from the proprietors of the Ferozpur City Housing Scheme to aid them in getting NOC.  The MPA appeared after court and there was a questioning session of one hour following that.
